Overview
Perpetual helps users discover watch listings across third-party marketplaces, including through an optional AI concierge. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We do not sell personal information.
Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, and encrypted password credentials.
- Usage data: search/filter actions, listing interactions, feature usage, and basic device/browser telemetry.
- Security data: sign-in activity, session metadata, and abuse/fraud signals.
- Support data: information you provide when contacting support or submitting safety reports.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve marketplace search, filtering, and account features.
- Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate suspicious activity.
- Operate analytics for product quality and performance.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
AI Concierge & Conversation Data
Perpetual offers an optional AI concierge ("Boutique") that helps you find watches through conversation. When you use it, we capture the conversation so we can operate, secure, evaluate, and improve the feature.
- What we capture: the messages you send and the assistant's replies; preferences the assistant infers from your messages (for example brand, budget range, case size, condition); the watch configurations shown to you; and interaction events such as which cards render and which marketplace links you open.
- Why: to generate recommendations, detect and fix quality regressions across brands, measure whether results are useful, and — for signed-in users — to personalize future sessions.
- Identity: if you are signed in, conversations are associated with your account; if you are not signed in, they are recorded without an account identifier.
- Not advice: the concierge provides market information and discovery, not financial, investment, or purchase advice. See our Terms of Service.
- Retention: raw conversation records are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted or aggregated into non-identifying form. Security and abuse records may be kept longer where required by law.
- Your control: you can request deletion of your conversation data at any time (see Your Choices and Rights). Deleting your account also removes conversation data linked to it.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help operate the platform (for example hosting, monitoring, and email delivery), and when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide services, maintain security records, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data category.
Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update profile details from Account Settings.
- Request account deletion in-app or via Delete Account Request. Account deletion also removes AI concierge conversation data linked to the account.
- Request deletion of your AI concierge conversation data on its own by emailing privacy support with the email address you used, or the account you were signed into.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We process AI concierge conversation data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service; you may withdraw consent by requesting deletion as described above.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
Perpetual is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy over time. Material updates will be reflected by updating the effective and last-updated date on this page.
